Role Description This is a full-time remote role for an Immigration Paralegal at Yildiz Law Firm PLLC. The Immigration Paralegal will assist attorneys with preparing, organizing, and filing immigration petitions, applications, and supporting documentation. Daily responsibilities include conducting legal and factual research, drafting forms and affidavits, managing case timelines, and maintaining accurate client files. The role involves regular client communication to gather information, provide status updates, and ensure all required documents are collected on time. The Immigration Paralegal will also coordinate with attorneys to prepare for interviews and hearings, monitor changes in immigration law, and contribute to process improvements within the practice.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Law with specific focus on Immigration Law.
• Knowledge of Immigration Issues and various Visas, including family-based, employment-based, and humanitarian categories.
• Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including forms, cover letters, evidence indexes, and supporting statements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to manage multiple cases, meet deadlines, and work independently in a remote environment.
• Prior experience as an immigration paralegal or legal assistant in an immigration practice is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with immigration case management software and standard office productivity tools.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and/or paralegal certification is preferred.
• Professional, client-centered attitude and ability to work effectively with diverse client populations.
