Graphic Designer - Printing Industry (ZR-603)

Horizon Tech is hiring a part-time, remote Graphic Designer to support a US-based printing company. This role focuses heavily on print production, layout design, and preparing press-ready files, with primary work in Adobe InDesign. The designer will work closely with the client and external print vendors to deliver high-quality print materials, ensuring accuracy, color consistency, and adherence to US printing standards. Clear English communication is essential due to direct collaboration with US stakeholders. Responsibilities : Create and update print-focused design assets including brochures, flyers, catalogs, signage, packaging, and other marketing collateral Take design projects from concept through press-ready delivery· Prepare print-ready files with correct sizes, bleeds, trim/safe areas, color modes, and export specifications (PDF/X) Work extensively in Adobe InDesign for layout creation and revisions· Ensure proper image placement, resolution, and color accuracy for printing Manage basic color workflows (CMYK/RGB/Pantone conversions) and review printer proofs when required Perform preflight checks and quality control to ensure production-ready files· Ability to meet deadlines and manage assigned tasks effectively Incorporate feedback efficiently while maintaining design quality and timelines Required Qualifications : 3+ years of professional experience as a Graphic Designer, preferably in the printing industry Strong proficiency in Adobe InDesign (mandatory) Working knowledge of print production and prepress standards Clear spoken and written English communication skills Prior experience working with the US market or US-based clients Strong attention to detail, especially in layouts and print accuracy Must be able to type 40 words per minute. Preferred Qualifications : Experience working with the Adobe Creative Suite, with a strong focus on InDesign Familiarity with branding guidelines and layout systems Ability to work independently in a remote, part-time setup Other Details: Job Timings: Night shift following US CST (Part Time).
