Job Summary:
The Financial Analyst is responsible for transforming and analyzing financial data to support business decisions, budgeting, and reporting. This role involves creating dashboards, reports, and reconciliations to support month-end and year-end financial processes, ensuring data accuracy and integrity across financial systems.
Job Description:
• Extract, analyze, and transform financial data from Sage Intacct and related systems to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports that provide financial results, trends, and KPIs.
• Assist in month-end and year-end financial reporting by designing and automating reports and reconciliation processes.
• Develop and maintain automated reporting and data refresh processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize system usage and implement improvements to financial reporting workflows.
• Work closely with accounting, IT, and business teams to ensure accurate setup, configuration, and ongoing data integrity within Sage Intacct.
• Provide system support and training to internal teams on using financial systems, ensuring compliance with reporting and auditing requirements.
• Conduct variance analysis and support the finance team in identifying discrepancies, improving financial visibility, and supporting decision-making.
• Perform detailed monthly reconciliations, including deferred revenue and accounts receivable.
• Identify areas for improvement in the financial data capture and reporting process.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial reports align with business goals and regulatory requirements.
• Support internal audits and provide requested documentation for financial analysis and reporting.
Qualifications:
• Experience with financial systems integration and troubleshooting.
• Experience with financial data analysis and reporting tools.
• Experience in preparing and presenting financial data to non-technical and technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrates strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Clear and coherent both written and verbal communication skills in English.
Screening Criteria:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Accounting, or related field.
• Minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience in financial data analysis, data reporting, or financial systems management.
• Experience in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions (SUMIFS, XLOOKUP, IF statements).
• Must have stable employment history.
