Role Description This is a part-time, remote role for a Financial Advisor at Sun Life Philippines. The Financial Advisor will engage with clients to understand their financial goals, assess needs, and recommend suitable insurance, investment, and retirement solutions. Daily responsibilities include conducting financial planning sessions, presenting tailored proposals, and providing ongoing guidance to help clients stay on track with their plans. The role also involves prospecting new clients, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and keeping accurate records of meetings and recommendations. Financial Advisors are expected to stay informed on Sun Life products, market trends, and regulatory guidelines to ensure responsible and compliant advice.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Financial Planning and Financial Advisory to assess client needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Solid understanding of Finance and Investments to explain products clearly and support informed client decisions.
• Knowledge of Retirement Planning to design long-term strategies for income, protection, and asset preservation.
• Effective communication, listening, and interpersonal skills to build trust with diverse clients.
• Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in a remote, part-time setup.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field is preferred but not strictly required with relevant experience.
• Relevant certifications or licenses in insurance or investments (or willingness to obtain them) are a strong advantage.
• Prior experience in sales, client advisory, or customer-facing roles in financial services is beneficial.
