Overview Event Strategy & Planning Develop and execute event strategies that align with company objectives to maximize lead generation, customer engagement, and brand awareness. Oversee the complete event campaign lifecycle—from pre-event planning to post-event follow-up and continuous optimization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to not only exceed MQL quotas and drive pipeline revenue, but to ensure alignment internally across all event touchpoints. Build and manage complex vendor relationships, including partnerships and sponsorships, and ensure flawless event execution. Track and deliver KPIs directly tied to revenue generation. Integrate events with broader marketing initiatives (content marketing, digital advertising, email campaigns) for maximum impact. Lead the planning and execution self-hosted events and user conferences designed to both generate net new logos and strengthen customer relationships. Event Budget Management Use data to track expenses, maximize ROI, and ensure events are delivered within budget. Lead sponsorship negotiations to secure cost savings across sponsorships, events, and engagements. Lead Generation & Engagement Design event content and programming that engages prospects and generates high-quality leads for sales. Partner with sales and marketing teams to develop targeted pre-event campaigns that maximize attendance and engagement. Create and implement post-event engagement strategies, including lead nurturing and follow-up campaigns, to convert attendees into customers. Reporting & Optimization Provide reporting on event performance, including lead quality, engagement metrics, and ROI. Continuously refine and optimize event strategies based on insights and data, implementing improvements for future events. Utilize data analytics, CRM tools, and marketing automation systems to track event performance and measure ROI. Responsibilities Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously. Comfortable with being flexible and open to change, handling uncertainties, while still driving forward to meet KPI goals. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and influence stakeholders. Ability to develop and execute comprehensive event strategies that deliver both short-term leads and long-term customer engagement. Leverage creativity to drive business outcomes through personalized and impactful event experiences. Experience creating highly tailored experiences for both prospects and customers. Strong understanding of B2B marketing strategies, lead generation, and customer engagement techniques that have had impact to bottom-line numbers. Demonstrated success in using events for lead generation, sales enablement, and brand awareness. Demonstrated history with leading and motivating an internal events team, fostering collaboration and ensuring successful event execution.
