About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Research Associate to join our dynamic team remotely, collaborating closely with colleagues in India and onshore partners. The successful candidate will play a vital role in conducting comprehensive research and analysis on the performance of investment banks and other financial services firms, utilizing secondary research sources. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality client reports, including in-depth research documents for ongoing quarterly projects as well as shorter-term assignments.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate effectively with both onshore and offshore team members and partners to ensure seamless project execution.
Conduct thorough quantitative and qualitative research using secondary sources such as web searches, published financial statements, and specialized databases.
Analyze gathered data, perform estimations, and integrate proprietary datasets to derive actionable insights.
Develop, maintain, and manage financial databases and models in Excel.
Prepare and present comprehensive client reports, ensuring adherence to process standards, primarily using Excel and PowerPoint.
Draft clear, concise qualitative summaries to complement quantitative research outputs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Strong background in Financial Analysis and Research, with proven experience in Balance Sheet and P&L analysis.
Familiarity with Investment Banking research, particularly equities, fixed income products, and a solid understanding of capital markets operations.
Proficient in MS Office, with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint being essential.
Excellent communication and coordination skills for working within diverse teams.
