EdTech Sales Consultant Department: Sales & Growth Engagement: Commission-Based | Contract Location: Kenya / East Africa (Remote + Field Work) About Tajilabs Tajilabs is a technology solutions company based in Nairobi, building practical, scalable digital systems for businesses across East Africa. One of our core platforms, Remedy , is a unified school management system designed to improve how schools operate and how parents, teachers, and administrators communicate. As we expand our education solutions, we are looking for EdTech Sales Consultants to help onboard schools and education institutions and drive adoption of our platform. Role Summary The EdTech Sales Consultant will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and converting education institutions into active Remedy clients. This role is performance-driven and suited for individuals who are confident selling technology solutions, comfortable engaging decision-makers in schools, and motivated by commission-based earnings. You will manage the sales journey from initial contact through demo, negotiation, and handover to onboarding. Key Responsibilities Identify and prospect schools, academies, colleges, and education institutions Schedule and conduct product demos for school administrators and owners Understand school operational challenges and align them with Remedy’s capabilities Manage the full sales cycle: lead → demo → proposal → closure Build and maintain strong relationships with school leadership and administrators Coordinate with the Tajilabs product and technical teams during onboarding Maintain simple sales records and pipeline updates Represent Tajilabs professionally in all client engagements Requirements Required Skills & Experience Proven experience in sales, business development, or client acquisition Experience selling to schools or education institutions is a strong advantage Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills Comfortable conducting in-person and virtual meetings and demos Ability to explain technical products in simple, clear language Self-driven, organized, and able to work independently Basic understanding of SaaS or digital platforms is an added advantage Benefits Commission & Engagement Model Commission-based compensation (10–20% per closed deal) Commission paid per successfully onboarded school Potential recurring commissions on renewals (where applicable) No earnings cap Opportunity to transition into a full-time or regional sales role based on performance Performance Expectations Consistent lead generation and follow-ups Regular demos and client engagements Closed deals and successful client onboarding Professional conduct and accurate representation of the product Why Join Tajilabs Work with a growing technology company building real solutions in different sectors Uncapped earning potential based on performance Flexible working arrangement Opportunity to grow into leadership roles within Sales & Growth Direct impact on how schools operate and engage parents
