We offer flexible work schedules, continuing education stipends, & more. Job Description We are seeking an experienced Part-Time Bookkeeper & Payroll associate to join our growing remote team! Our firm is seeking a dynamic bookkeeper and/or payroll associate with at least 1 year of experience in bookkeeping for small businesses. Experience understanding payroll basics is strongly desired as well. We are able to provide mentorship and training to provide you with the opportunity to improve your skillset as you grow along with us. Our ideal candidate will have Strong & proven background in Bookkeeping within Quickbooks. Familiarity with Xero & Zoho Books is strongly desired. Fundamental payroll processing knowledge backed by an interest in increasing their expertise processing payroll Experience navigating bookkeeping for professional consultants, ecommerce, & on-demand property service clients(cleaning, landscaping etc.) is a PLUS! Proficient working in a fully remote environment requiring strong communication skills to interact with both team members & clients successfully, and complete tasks in a timely fashion. Responsibilities Manage various client accounts daily to ensure books are consistently up to date Assist clients in catching up with Bookkeeping services Assist controller with payroll processing and reporting Sync and Utilize e-commerce & other 3rd party integration apps for seamless financial management Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and client satisfaction across chat, video clips & meetings Answer any client questions or concerns via email and/or 1:1 meetings Discuss and relay payroll needs with clients, client relations manager, and controller Application Process: Interested candidates should submit a resume and/or cover letter to be considered for an interview. Requirements Ideal Candidate : 1+ years of experience with QBO Required! QBO/bookkeeping certification from established course provider Experience with Gusto, Xero and/or Zoho strongly preferred! Familiarity with Keeper, ClickUp, e-commerce integration apps, and Google Workspace Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
