Data Insights Analyst (Entry / Junior)

Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Healthcare Specialist at PETRONAS Technical Services Sdn Bhd. The Healthcare Specialist will provide clinical and occupational health support, including assessing health risks, advising on preventive care, and supporting emergency response preparedness for employees and project teams. Daily responsibilities include reviewing medical information, conducting virtual health consultations where applicable, coordinating health surveillance programs, and preparing clear documentation and reports. The role also involves developing and delivering health-related training content, collaborating with safety and operations teams on health protocols, and supporting incident reviews from a medical perspective. The Healthcare Specialist will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure health standards, guidelines, and best practices are understood, implemented, and continuously improved.

Qualifications

• Clinical and emergency care capabilities, including EMT or equivalent pre-hospital care experience and a strong foundation in medicine or healthcare practice.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain medical and health information clearly to non-medical audiences and collaborate across diverse teams.
• Experience designing and delivering training or educational sessions related to health, safety, or emergency response.
• Background in occupational health, corporate health services, or industrial healthcare support is highly beneficial.
• Relevant professional certification or license in healthcare (e.g., nursing, paramedic, physician, or allied health) and familiarity with health and safety regulations.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and organizational skills, with comfort working independently in a remote environment and using digital tools for collaboration.
• Commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and continuous professional development in healthcare and occupational health.
