Role Summary: Own the execution of CRM activity by building and sending campaigns, maintaining automations and customer data and managing the day to day running and reporting of email, SMS and lifecycle marketing channels

As our CRM Executive you will own the day to day execution of our email and SMS marketing, ensuring campaigns and automations are built, scheduled and delivered accurately in line with our trading calendar. You’ll be responsible for managing customer segmentation, maintaining CRM data and working closely with internal teams and agency partners to ensure all lifecycle activity is aligned and performing as expected. It’s a hands on role where your work directly contributes to how we engage, retain and drive repeat purchases from our customer base.

What you will be doing
- You’ll own the setup, build and send of CRM campaigns across email and SMS, ensuring all activity is executed accurately and on time in line with the trading calendar.
- Build, update and maintain CRM automations (welcome, abandon cart, post purchase), ensuring flows are live, functioning correctly and aligned with current campaigns and messaging.
- Manage the CRM calendar, coordinating campaign schedules and ensuring alignment with wider marketing and trading activity.
- Create and manage customer segmentation within CRM platforms, ensuring audiences are correctly built, targeted and maintained across campaigns and flows.
- Carry out QA checks across all CRM activity (campaigns, flows, segmentation and links) to ensure accuracy, functionality and a high standard of execution.
- Manage the day to day relationship with external agency partners, ensuring CRM activity is delivered on time, to brief and challenging output where required.
- Monitor campaign and flow performance, maintaining reporting trackers and highlighting key insights, issues and opportunities to internal stakeholders.
- Maintain CRM platform data and hygiene, including managing lists, suppressions, tagging and ensuring customer data is accurate and up to date.
- Set up and manage A/B testing across campaigns, flows and messaging, ensuring tests are executed correctly and results are tracked and shared.
- Manage the integration of SMS activity alongside email, ensuring campaigns and flows are aligned and not duplicated.
- Work closely with internal teams (ecom, creative and marketing) to ensure CRM activity is aligned with product launches, promotions and brand messaging.
- Carry out day to day CRM platform management and operational tasks to support the running of lifecycle marketing channels.
Who you are
You might be a freelancer looking for a more stable long term role, or someone keen to gain hands on experience working within a growing Ecom brand.
- You are interested in developing your knowledge of CRM, lifecycle marketing and customer retention within a D2C environment.
- You have a number of years experience working in a CRM, email marketing or digital marketing role (ideally within ecommerce).
- You are highly organised and able to manage multiple campaigns, deadlines and tasks at once while maintaining accuracy across platforms.
- You are comfortable working with customer data, segmentation and performance metrics while able to interpret information to support day to day decision making.
- You are curious and proactive, with a natural interest in testing, improving and finding better ways to do things.
- You are self motivated in completing tasks, working in a timely manner and able to prioritise your workload and communication effectively.
- You work well within a team, making the effort to understand others, listen and collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
- You have excellent communication skills across all channels, both written and verbal, with a good eye for marketing content and messaging.
- You take the time to fully understand processes and are able to follow repeatable workflows accurately and consistently.
- You take pride in producing accurate, high quality work and maintaining strong attention to detail, particularly when executing campaigns.
- You are comfortable adapting to changes and shifting priorities in a fast paced ecommerce environment.
- You understand that feedback is part of working within a high performing team and use it as an opportunity to improve and grow.
- You are comfortable and productive working remotely and managing your own workload independently.
