About the Project The Employee Assistance Program is a planned initiative to offer confidential counseling and support services to U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) employees, addressing mental health, substance abuse, and workplace concerns through remote and virtual delivery. Job Title: Counselor Duties: Provide assessment, short-term counseling, referral, and follow-up Conduct intake and obtain signed Statement of Understanding Maintain case notes and compliance with confidentiality regulations Respond to emergency counseling needs 24/7 Work with diverse employee populations across NRC regions Qualifications: Master’s in clinical mental health field Active state license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, Psychologist) Competence in substance abuse assessment Experience with workplace behavioral health
