Company Description

TrueD8 is a new London-based startup developing a Web3-enabled dating and social discovery platform.

The idea behind TrueD8 is to make dating more engaging, trusted, and connected to real-world experiences. The platform brings together AI-assisted matchmaking, gamified interaction, token-based rewards, proof-of-meet concepts, and partnerships with local venues and businesses. Unlike traditional dating apps that mainly focus on swiping and messaging, TrueD8 aims to connect online matching with real-life social experiences. The platform is designed to encourage more meaningful engagement while also creating opportunities for local businesses, venues, events, and lifestyle brands to become part of the dating experience.

TrueD8 is particularly focused on the evolving expectations of Gen Z users, who are looking for more interactive, experience-led, and authentic ways to meet new people. An early PoC is already in place, so this is not a technical co-founder or developer role at this stage. The next step is focused on growth, market validation, partnerships, fundraising preparation, brand communication, and building the right commercial story around the product.

Job Description

TrueD8 is looking to connect with someone who has experience or strong interest in areas such as:

• Growth marketing

• Community building

• Consumer apps or dating platforms

• Brand and go-to-market strategy

• Fundraising and investor communication

• Partnerships with venues, universities, lifestyle brands, or local businesses

• Events, student communities, or Gen Z engagement

• Communication, PR, and early-stage startup development

This opportunity would suit someone who is commercially minded, proactive, and interested in helping build a pioneering consumer startup from the early stage.

At this point, the opportunity is equity-based, with the structure to be discussed based on contribution, commitment, and agreed milestones.
