This isn't a back-office coordinator role. You'll be the face of HomeHop for every new client — the person who turns a signed contract into a live, booking, money-making short-term rental (Airbnb/VRBO), and the reason owners tell their friends about us.
HomeHop Property Management is the top-rated short-term rental (Airbnb/VRBO) property manager in Ohio, with properties across Cleveland, Akron, Columbus, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, and Indianapolis. We're growing fast, and onboarding is where that growth gets won or lost.
This is a remote role, working primarily on US Eastern time.
What you'll own
• Be the point person for onboarding and offboarding every property in our portfolio
• Run kick-off calls with new clients and set the tone for the entire relationship
• Quarterback our operations team to make sure properties are guest-ready by go-live
• Work hand-in-hand with our in-house design team on furnishing and styling timelines
• Send proactive, timely status updates — our clients should never have to ask where things stand
• Play an integral role in our Buy2Booked program — where we help clients find, purchase, design, and operate brand-new short-term rentals from the ground up. You won't just be onboarding existing Airbnbs; you'll help create unique, one-of-a-kind properties from scratch.
Who you are
• Project management experience is a must — it doesn't have to be real estate specific, but you need a track record of running projects, hitting deadlines, and keeping stakeholders aligned
• Client-first mindset — you genuinely enjoy working with people, building trust, and creating a high-touch experience for clients during what's often a major investment and life transition for them. This role is as much about communication and relationship-building as it is about project execution.
• Obsessively organized and detail-oriented — nothing falls through the cracks
• A strong, confident communicator in English (written and spoken at a native or near-native level — you'll be client-facing on calls)
• Comfortable juggling multiple projects, properties, and stakeholders at once
• Tech-forward and genuinely curious about AI — we use tools like Claude, Asana, and Slack daily, and we see AI as core to how we scale. You should want to grow in that space with us.
• Self-directed and dependable in a remote environment
Nice to have (not required)
• Real estate, hospitality, or short-term rental experience — great if you have it, but we'll teach you the industry. The project management skill set is what matters most.
Why you'll want this job
• Real ownership from day one — you're not pushing tickets, you're running the onboarding engine
• A clear path to grow as the company scales — we're building toward 400+ properties and beyond, and the people who help us get there will lead the next chapter
• A culture that's always open to constructive feedback — we want to know how things could be better, and we move on good ideas fast
• Hands-on exposure to AI tools and workflows that most companies are still just talking about
• A young, ambitious, tech-forward team that takes our work seriously and ourselves less so
• Direct access to leadership — you'll work with the founders, not three layers below them
The details
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, working primarily on US Eastern time. A typical week is between 40 and 45 hours.
• Compensation: $2,500–$2,700 USD per month, depending on experience
• Team: You'll work directly with our leadership, operations, and design teams
