Remote CAD Design Intern (India) Company: Trustbridge Engineering, a Division of Vulcury LLC Location: Remote (Candidates from India Preferred) Internship Duration: 12 Weeks (Potential for Full-Time Opportunity Based on Performance) About Us: Trustbridge Engineering, part of Vulcury LLC, provides expert support in design and manufacturing for clients across industrial, consumer, automotive, aerospace, and medical sectors. Led by an engineer based in India, our team focuses on transforming client concepts into manufacturable designs. This internship offers valuable hands-on experience, working with clients and contributing to impactful projects. Position Summary: We are seeking a Remote CAD Design Intern to work closely with our Head Engineer on diverse client projects and internal initiatives. This role is a 12-week paid internship, with the opportunity for full-time employment for outstanding performers. This is a late-day India shift, starting in the afternoon to allow some overlap with US working hours. Candidates with experience in design and an understanding of various manufacturing processes are particularly attractive, as this knowledge is useful when optimizing designs for manufacturability and engaging with manufacturers. Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Head Engineer to develop and refine 2D and 3D CAD models and drawings. Use software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, ANSYS, and Fusion 360 to create designs across various sectors. Optimize designs for manufacturability, ensuring they align with different manufacturing processes. Support internal initiatives related to referring clients to appropriate manufacturers, including supplier research and analysis. Prepare design presentations and technical documentation for client projects. Participate in client meetings as required to understand project goals and present design updates. Internship Structure: 12 Weeks: Paid internship with ongoing performance reviews. Post-Internship: Opportunity for a full-time role based on outstanding performance. Job Types: Internship, Contract Education: Bachelor's (Preferred) Experience: total work: 1 year (Preferred) CAD: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: Remote Requirements Qualifications: Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field. At least 6 months of hands-on experience with 2D and 3D modeling. Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, ANSYS, or Fusion 360. Understanding of how design choices interact with various manufacturing processes is highly desirable. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Effective communication skills for remote collaboration. Past client experience is a plus, though not required. Requirements: Must have a personal computer with CAD software installed. Ability to work a late-day shift starting in the afternoon to overlap with US hours. Must be available to work remotely and coordinate with our team based in India.
