As we expand our market footprint, we are looking for a strategic and experienced Senior Business Development Associate to help drive enterprise growth.
Role Overview
As a Senior Business Development Associate, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and closing high-impact partnerships and institutional deals. You will lead go-to-market efforts for tokenization solutions, digital asset platforms, and other fintech innovations, while navigating the complexities of enterprise-level client needs.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, qualify, and convert B2B/enterprise-level leads across financial institutions, technology firms, asset managers, exchanges, and Web3-native businesses.
Drive strategic outreach and lead generation initiatives, with a focus on complex, high-value, cutting-edge technology sales deals.
Lead and manage the full business development lifecycle—from outreach, discovery, and proposal development to deal negotiation and closing.
Serve as a strategic partner to internal product and legal teams, ensuring deal structures align with technical capabilities and regulatory frameworks.
Represent the company at industry events and in external meetings, driving visibility and partnership opportunities.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with institutional partners, clients, and ecosystem players.
Maintain a strong understanding of evolving crypto and DeFi trends, with a focus on tokenization, blockchain infrastructure, and enterprise adoption.
Track pipeline activity and outcomes in Salesforce CRM; generate reporting for leadership and inform forecasts.
Requirements
8+ years of experience in business development, strategic sales, or partnerships, preferably in fintech, blockchain, SaaS, or TradFi & Capital Markets.
Experience with institutional/enterprise-level clients is a must.
Demonstrated success in sourcing and closing complex, multi-stakeholder, high-value technology deals.
Strong understanding of the blockchain and DeFi ecosystem, including tokenized assets, digital infrastructure, and regulatory considerations.
Experience working on tokenization initiatives or tokenization deals is a strong plus.
Previous M&A or project management experience is an asset, particularly if involving strategic partnerships or financial product integrations.
Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work cross-functionally with product, compliance, and legal teams to close technically and legally sound deals.
Highly organized, self-driven, and comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving environments.
Nice to Have
Network of contacts in institutional crypto, DeFi protocols, or fintech venture ecosystems.
Knowledge of securities, custody, or compliance as they relate to digital assets.
MBA or other advanced degree in finance, business, or a related field.
