To accelerate our expansion, we’re hiring an in-house Business Development Representative (BDR) to uncover new opportunities, craft compelling outreach, and keep our revenue engine humming. Why This Role Matters: As the first touchpoint for prospects, you’ll shape how potential clients perceive AirBase. Your work—identifying ideal targets, honing our message, and booking qualified demos—will directly fuel our sales pipeline and revenue growth. Key Responsibilities: ICP & Messaging Define and refine Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) by industry, size, and hiring patterns Sharpen value-prop messaging that speaks to prospect pain points (cost-per-hire, time-to-fill, quality, etc.) Lead Generation Source, verify, and segment lead lists using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, ZoomInfo, and other tools Keep CRM data pristine and up to date Outbound Prospecting Run high-volume, high-quality outreach across cold calls, LinkedIn messages, and email sequences Personalize touchpoints at scale while meeting daily activity KPIs Pipeline Building Book discovery calls and product demos with key decision-makers (Talent, HR, and C-Suite) Qualify prospects using MEDDIC/BANT (or similar) and hand off to Account Executives Solution Positioning Conduct initial demos when needed, uncovering deeper challenges and aligning AirBase’s recruiting solutions Draft tailored proposals in collaboration with Sales Leadership Feedback Loop Capture objections, market intel, and campaign performance metrics Present insights for continual messaging and product tweaks Requirements: 1+ years of proven success in outbound sales or business development selling recruitment or staffing services (RPO, contingent, retained, or talent marketplaces) Consistent track record of exceeding call/email/demo quotas Fluency with modern prospecting stacks (CRM, sales engagement platforms, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc.) Strong written and verbal communication skills—you can distill complex value props into crisp, persuasive copy Obsession with metrics, experimentation, and continuous improvement Startup-ready attitude: ownership, grit, and comfort with ambiguity Nice to Have: Familiarity with AI-driven HR tech or SaaS sales Experience using data enrichment tools and basic SQL/Looker or analytics dashboards Knowledge of MEDDIC, SPICED, or similar qualification frameworks What We Offer: Competitive base + uncapped commission structure Remote-first culture with a high-performing, collaborative team Best-in-class tech stack and sales enablement resources Professional development stipend and clear promotion path to Account Executive The chance to shape the growth engine of an AI-powered recruiting leader How to Apply: Ready to shape the future of recruiting?
