Business Development Manager Remote/Hybrid (must travel to London from time to time) £30,000–£40,000 per annum (dependent on experience) + uncapped commission Full-time, permanent Our client is a fast-growing organisation delivering high-impact Leadership and Management apprenticeship programmes across sectors including media, finance, government, retail, and the NHS. Key Responsibilities • Research and identify new apprenticeship prospects • Generate interest through cold calling, email outreach, and social media engagement • Attend networking events and build professional relationships • Lead virtual client meetings (with occasional face-to-face) • Produce timely and accurate business proposals • Achieve monthly apprenticeship start targets • Deliver learner and manager briefings • Manage client accounts and identify upsell opportunities • Keep accurate CRM and reporting records • Provide prospect updates to the Commercial Director Ideal Skills and Experience • Proven success in telesales or business development (essential) • Experience selling apprenticeships/training (highly desirable) • Results-orientated with strong commercial drive • Skilled communicator, comfortable with senior stakeholders • Customer-focused and relationship-centred • Resilient, self-motivated, and proactive • Highly organised and able to manage priorities What’s On Offer • £30,000–£40,000 basic salary (DOE) • Uncapped commission on apprenticeship starts • Fully funded Chartered Management Institute qualification • Progression to Senior Business Development Manager • Remote/home-working model • Monthly travel to London reimbursed in full • 5.6 weeks annual leave + bank holidays • Paid winter closure period • 2 weeks full sick pay per year This organisation is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of learners and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
