We're Hiring: Bookkeeping & Bank Reconciliation Officer (Remote)

Impulse Accountants, a Melbourne-based chartered accounting firm, is growing — and we're looking for an experienced Bookkeeping & Bank Reconciliation Officer to join our remote team. This is a fully remote, work-from-home role supporting our Australian client base.

🗓️ The Role

• Part-time: 15 hours/week, across 3 days — Monday, Wednesday & Thursday
• Working hours aligned to Melbourne time (AEDT/AEST)
• Fully remote / work from home
• Rate and payment terms discussed on application

✅ Must-Have Experience

• Bank reconciliation in Xero and QuickBooks
• BGL experience for SMSF clients
• Hands-on experience with Xero Practice Manager (XPM)
• Strong attention to detail and a high standard of accuracy
• Reliable internet and a quiet home-office setup
• proficient English level

⭐ Preferable to Have

• Experience working with an Australian accounting practice
• Familiarity with Australian SMSF compliance
