Job Description This is a remote position. Azure Specialist Reporting to the Information Security and Infrastructure Manager, the Azure Specialist designs, deploys, and optimizes Azure services and workflows across Accordion's enterprise and practice-supporting environments. This role brings deep hands-on expertise across services such as Entra, AKS, and Azure Virtual Machines and helps ensure Azure capabilities are secure, scalable, resilient, and cost-aware. The role partners closely with cloud engineering, security, and development teams across the US, UK, and India. Travel will be required. This position will ideally be based in one of our US offices, and is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work remotely 2 days per week (also eligible for remote candidates). What You’ll Do: Azure Platform Engineering · Design, deploy, and optimize Azure workloads and supporting platform services · Support architecture and engineering decisions across Entra, AKS, Azure Virtual Machines, and related Azure capabilities Security & Reliability · Help implement secure configuration, identity controls, resilience, and operational standards for Azure environments · Support monitoring, backup, failover, and recovery readiness Optimization & Automation · Improve automation, provisioning speed, and infrastructure consistency through tooling and repeatable engineering patterns · Partner on usage optimization and cost-aware design decisions Cross-Functional Delivery · Work with infrastructure, security, and development teams to support enterprise platforms and practice development activities running on Azure Requirements You Have: · 5+ years of experience designing and supporting Azure environments in production · Strong hands-on knowledge of Azure services including Entra, AKS, Azure Virtual Machines, and related infrastructure capabilities · Experience with automation, infrastructure as code, and secure cloud operations · Comfortability troubleshooting, optimizing, and improving Azure environments, with a focus on scalable, secure, and reliable outcomes · Ability to work across engineering, security, and operational teams · Bachelor's degree preferred; Azure certifications are a plus You Are: · Excited to be part of a growing team, with a focus on driving future growth · Passionate about delivering exceptional client service · Knowledgeable about the relationship between Private Equity sponsors and their portfolio companies, particularly within the office of the CFO · Willing to get your hands dirty in the details of a project while simultaneously seeing the whole picture · Comfortable managing projects with multiple complex work streams, while also focused on your single work stream (you are managing and doing) · A self-starter with a strong work ethic · Full of entrepreneurial spirit and comfortable in a fluid, flat organization · Able to effectively communicate complex issues and solutions, and raise issues to senior team members when necessary · A team player, able to work with team members across all levels · Someone who enjoys mentoring others and doing meaningful work · A leader of others; you lead by example Benefits Actual compensation packages are determined by evaluating a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location, skill set, years and depth of experience, education, certifications, cost of labor and internal equity.
