Associate Director – Sales (BFSI Sector) Location: Johannesburg, South Africa Must-Have Skills Banking & Insurance Marketing Key Responsibilities Business Development & Revenue Growth: Identify new business opportunities, drive sales pipeline, and achieve revenue targets. Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with enterprise clients, understanding their IT needs and offering tailored solutions. Solution Selling: Sell IT services, cloud solutions, SaaS, software products, or technology solutions based on business needs. Market Research & Strategy: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor analysis, and emerging technologies to shape sales strategies. Proposal & Negotiation: Lead proposal development, present sales pitches, and negotiate contracts to close deals successfully. Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (technical, delivery, marketing) to align sales strategies with business goals. Account Management: Maintain long-term relationships with key accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and repeat business. Reporting & Forecasting: Track sales performance, generate reports, and provide insights for business planning. Key Requirements Experience: 18+ years in IT sales, with a proven track record in enterprise sales, cloud, SaaS, or software solutions. Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of IT services, cloud computing, digital transformation, and emerging technologies. Communication & Negotiation: Excellent verbal and written communication, strong persuasion, and negotiation skills. Networking: Ability to build relationships with C-level executives, IT decision-makers, and stakeholders. Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute sales strategies that align with business growth objectives.
