As a leading provider of ADHD and ASD diagnostic services, we are committed to making neurodiversity support accessible, compassionate and clinically robust. We are now seeking experienced clinicians to support with ADHD assessments.
The Role
As an ADHD Clinician, you will support the delivery of high-quality ADHD assessments as part of RTN’s diagnostic pathway.
This opportunity is open to suitably qualified clinicians with experience in ADHD assessment, diagnosis and formulation. You may be a Nurse Practitioner, Mental Health Nurse, Clinical Psychologist, or another suitably qualified clinician with relevant ADHD assessment experience.
You will be responsible for completing ADHD assessments in line with clinical standards, ensuring each individual receives a respectful, professional and supportive assessment experience.
Role Responsibilities
ADHD Assessments:
Complete ADHD assessments for children and/or adults as part of RTN’s diagnostic pathway.
Clinical Interview & Formulation:
Carry out structured clinical interviews, gather relevant developmental, educational, occupational and mental health history, and provide clear clinical formulation to support diagnostic decision-making.
Person-Centred Practice:
Ensure every assessment is delivered with empathy, professionalism and respect for the individual’s needs, presentation and lived experience.
Collaborative Working:
Work alongside RTN’s wider clinical team to support timely, high-quality ADHD assessments.
Compliance & Quality:
Maintain accurate documentation and follow relevant clinical, safeguarding and information governance standards.
Professional Standards:
Work within your professional scope of practice and maintain appropriate registration, training and clinical competence.
About You
You are a qualified clinician with experience supporting ADHD assessments and delivering diagnostic assessments in a professional, compassionate and clinically sound way.
You may be a:
- Nurse Practitioner
- Mental Health Nurse
- Clinical Psychologist
- Other suitably qualified clinician with ADHD assessment experience
You will also have:
- Experience completing ADHD assessments for children and/or adults
- Strong knowledge of ADHD diagnostic criteria and differential diagnosis
- Experience gathering and interpreting developmental, educational, occupational and mental health history
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong clinical judgement and attention to detail
- A person-centred, respectful and neuroaffirming approach
- Appropriate professional registration and insurance
- The ability to work independently while contributing to a wider clinical team
