About the Role
Socialab is seeking a
Creative Video Director
to pioneer the next wave of storytelling. This is not your average video editor role. You'll be concepting and crafting stunning visual campaigns using
next-gen AI video generation tools
like
Sora, Veo, Runway, Luma Dream Machine, Kling AI, and other future tools
, blending artistic intuition with emerging tech.
Your work will support
client campaigns
,
brand-building initiatives
, and
Socialab's own creative self-promotion
. From pitch to production, you will drive the process of
visualizing bold ideas
, prototyping with AI, and shaping results with editing finesse.
Key Responsibilities
Concept Creation
: Ideate AI-powered visual storytelling concepts for digital, PR, and social campaigns.
AI Video Generation
: Use AI
tools to produce original video content, storyboards, or reference imagery. You will also use them
to
generate
voice, sound and music.
Editing & Refinement
: Edit, enhance, or remix AI-generated footage using Premiere, After Effects, Capcut or other tools to meet campaign quality standards.
Storyboarding
: Translate strategy and briefs into narrative visual flows, motion mockups, or AI-shot plans.
Experimental Work
: Test and document new AI video platforms and techniquesbring innovation into Socialab's offerings.
Collaboration
: Work with copywriters, art directors, strategists, and account teams to deliver cohesive creative output.
Asset Delivery
: Finalize and export content for various platforms (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.) with correct specs and pacing.
What You'll Need To Have
A deep interest in visual storytelling and the future of generative media.
Hands-on experience (or strong willingness to learn fast) with tools like
Runway ML
,
Sora
,
Luma Dream Machine
, or
Google Veo/Flow
.
Strong editing skills in
Premiere Pro, After Effects
, or similar.
Proven ability to
conceptualize ideas visually
through moodboards, creative decks, or prompt engineering.
Understanding of digital platforms and how short-form videos perform across them.
Fluent in AI trends and willing to experiment, fail, tweak, and evolve.
Bonus: Experience in copywriting, motion design, or art direction.
