Salary: Up to £26,600, based on skills and experience
Contract Type: 12 month Fixed Term Contract – 35 hours a week
Location: Hybrid working (office based in Birmingham) – typically 2 days in the office per week

Make a Difference
This role has been created to support with a project bringing in new technology and ways of working to the business.
You will support Wesleyan Financial services (WFS) staff by establishing strong stakeholder relationships with the advisers, enabling them to provide their customers with an excellent advice journey. Acting as a conduit between advisers and the external platform provider. Maintaining smooth processes in relation to the WesInvest Hub, resolving issues as they arise. Using knowledge gained to enhance existing processes. Adapting to a changing remit and building strong working relationships with both field and head office teams.
Your Impact
Here’s how you’ll make a difference:
· Initially this role will be stand-alone within the WFS Logistics Team. Once training is complete and processes embedded, you will be expected to share knowledge with the wider team while also absorbing learning other tasks that are completed within the wider team
· Maintaining strong relationships with third-party suppliers, advisers, and internal teams; handling queries via phone, TEAMS, and email.
· Supporting advisers with data input to application forms, data accuracy checks and system inputs
· Conducting anti-money laundering checks, including obtaining additional evidence where required
· Comparing customer data across platform/in-house systems to ensure alignment
· Contributing to procedure reviews, risk management oversight, and root cause analysis of complaints and breaches.
· This role sits within the WFS Logistics Team. The Team is an integral part of WFS Operations, which is the central contact point for both remote workers in the field and departments across Head Office and is therefore able to expose the jobholder to a wide range of functions and opportunities across the Society. The role is constantly evolving, so flexibility and adaptability are essential traits.
What You’ll Bring
· Previous experience in an administrative support role
· Excellent levels of accuracy and attention to detail
· Excellent communication skills
· Able to prioritise own workload to ensure that deadlines are met
· Able to work with others to achieve team goals and objectives
· Able to work in a team-based environment, with minimal supervision
· An organised and flexible approach to work, demonstrating initiative and a 'can do' attitude
· Constantly looking to improve existing processes
· A good understanding of MS Excel functions, including formulae and calculations
· A good understanding of MS Word functions, including mailmerge
· Good understanding of Wesleyan internal systems (CRM, CDS, DMS)
· Ideally, some knowledge of investments, pensions, UCITS, unit trusts, With Profits funds, or SIPPs.Knowledge of Financial Services Industry
