As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring key accounting functions are completed in a timely manner while providing top-notch customer service to contractors and vendors. This position places a strong emphasis on the successful execution of established accounting processes and procedures. The role supports STAND 8's internal accounting operations by maintaining accurate billing, collections, payroll, commission, and financial documentation processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and send invoices in Quickbooks Online
• Record payments in Quickbooks Online
• Manage Collections on accounts
• Send remittance details and clear invoices with our lender
• Set up Payroll through ADP WorkforceNow
• Manage Commissions
• Keep track of statements of work and purchase orders

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance, preferred
• Fluent in English
• 2-4 years bookkeeping experience
• Working knowledge of Quickbooks Online, ADP WorkforceNow, and Bullhorn, preferred
• Staffing experience a plus
• Previous experience working for a U.S.-based company
• Strong understanding of Basic U.S. Accounting Principles
• Experience working in an Accounting/Finance department
• Must be able to interact with clients in a professional manner
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a team as well as individually
• Self-starter
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word and Excel)
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Strong administrative skills with significant attention to detail
• Ability to perform mathematical and data processing tasks rapidly and accurately
• Ability to exercise professional judgement and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Must be flexible and willing to learn and adapt to an ever-changing environment

Preferred:

• Familiarity with STAND 8 internal systems, processes, or methodologies.
