Accounts Payable Analyst – Remote - US Clients

Our client is looking for an experienced Account Payable Analyst to join their growing finance team and support high-volume AP operations within a fast-paced, US GAAP-compliant environment.

Beyond day-to-day execution, the ideal candidate should be capable of identifying operational gaps, improving workflows, and helping scale finance processes effectively.

Role Overview

As a Account Payable Analyst, you will own the end-to-end Accounts Payable process while supporting accurate financial reporting and strong accounting controls under US GAAP standards.

You’ll collaborate closely with accounting leadership, procurement teams, operations stakeholders, and vendors while helping strengthen AP workflows and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full-cycle Accounts Payable process end-to-end
• Process high-volume invoices accurately and efficiently
• Review invoice coding, approvals, and payment workflows in accordance with accounting policies
• Execute vendor payments including ACH, wires, checks, and international payments
• Handle vendor onboarding, communication, and account maintenance
• Support month-end close activities including AP accruals, reconciliations, and aging reviews
• Monitor AP aging reports and proactively resolve discrepancies
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with internal controls
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Accounting, Procurement, and Operations teams
• Assist with audit requests and financial documentation support
• Improve procurement-to-payment workflows and identify automation opportunities
• Support process improvement initiatives and SOP creation

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of Accounts Payable or Accounting experience
• Strong understanding of AP processes within a US GAAP environment
• Experience supporting month-end close and reconciliations
• Experience handling high-volume AP operations
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and vendor management abilities
• Ability to operate independently in fast-paced environments
• Ability to overlap with US working hours
