Business unit, Department, Reporting Business Unit Finance Job grade OP1 Core Description Perform administrative functions to enable the efficient and effective management of debtors for the company, in compliance with company policy and procedures, minimising risk to the company Key Deliverables / Primary Functions . Capture debtors’ details onto the financial system, as per authorised agreements, checking the accuracy and completeness of information against source documentation. Extract debtors’ reports from the system, prior to processing of invoices, according to standard procedures and meeting deadlines. Review listing for any errors/discrepancies and completeness of information, following up on problem areas identified with the relevant stakeholders. Process sundry debtors/employee debtors’ details onto the financial system in accordance with standard procedures, ensuring that all details are captured correctly. Process receipting of payments from customers and maintain debtor accounts. Assist in preparing General Ledger reconciliations related to the debtors function, achieving accurate financial figures by due dates.
