Job Title: Accounting Coordinator Reports To: Controller Position Summary Media Works LTD, a highly-respected, fast paced, energetic strategic media agency in Baltimore, MD is looking to fill the role of Accounting Coordinator. We deliver digital and offline media solutions for brands across the country. Media Works is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Coordinator / Accounting Clerk to support our accounting department with high-volume data entry and administrative tasks. This role is primarily responsible for entering vendor invoices, maintaining accurate financial records in QuickBooks, and assisting with payment tracking and general accounting support functions. This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, efficient, and comfortable working in a fast-paced agency environment. Key Responsibilities Accurately enter vendor invoices into QuickBooks to ensure proper tracking and approval prior to payment. Review invoices for completeness, accuracy, and proper documentation. Update QuickBooks to reflect payments made (check, ACH, wire, credit card). Maintain organized digital and/or physical invoice and payment records. Assist with accounts payable processing and vendor file maintenance. Reconcile vendor statements and flag discrepancies. Support month-end closing activities, including data verification and reporting assistance. Coordinate with internal account teams to ensure proper invoicing and documentation. Perform general administrative tasks to support the accounting department. Reformatting digital invoicing. Assist with special projects and process improvements as needed. Experience, Education, and Skills 1–3 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or data entry experience preferred. QuickBooks experience strongly preferred. Strong data entry skills with high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Clear and professional communication skills. Experience in an advertising agency or media environment is a plus.
