Hiring: Accounting Domain Expert — AI Evaluation Project (Remote Freelance)

Location: Remote - India

Compensation: $70/hr (USD) | Paid fortnightly via Deel

About The Role:

Crossing Hurdles is a global recruitment consultancy partnering with an AI company building systems that understand real-world professional workflows. They are seeking experienced Accounting professionals to evaluate AI outputs, identify errors, and improve domain-specific reasoning based on practical industry expertise. This is a hands-on role applying real accounting experience in financial reporting, general ledger, reconciliations, audit, or tax—not a theoretical exercise.

What You Will Do:

• Review AI-generated accounting outputs for accuracy, compliance, and correctness
• Translate real accounting workflows (month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations) into structured tasks
• Evaluate AI reasoning on GAAP/IFRS scenarios, revenue recognition, tax provisions
• Document your assumptions and decision-making clearly in writing

Who We Are Looking For:

• 5+ years of experience in Accounting (Financial Reporting, GL, Tax, Audit, Compliance)
• CPA / CA (ICAI) strongly preferred; other relevant credentials welcome
• Strong written English — you will explain your reasoning clearly
• Available for 15–20+ hours/week consistently
• Comfortable working remotely and asynchronously
