Par Six Golf is seeking a full-time Accounts Manager
Who we are:
Par Six Golf Media is a golf-obsessed marketing agency helping courses and resorts standout and start becoming the obvious answer to, “Where are we playing next?”
We mix strategy, storytelling, data, and a healthy amount of personality to help golf brands grow their digital reputation, fill tee sheets, drive revenue, and look damn good doing it.
We love golf, we care about doing things the right way, and we’re here to help pull the industry forward.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Account Manager at Par Six is the engine behind every client's success. You are the strategic quarterback, responsible for understanding each client's business, owning their marketing strategy, and driving the execution that turns goals into results.
This is not a "keep the client happy" role. This is a "make the client win" role. You own the strategy. You hold the team accountable. You push the social and ads teams on the big levers that actually move the needle. And you make sure nothing falls through the cracks.
There is real creative latitude here. You'll shape the voice of client brands through emails, blogs, and website work. You'll bring ideas to the table and execute with intent. But creativity at P6R always serves one master: the strategy and the client's goals.
WHAT YOU OWN
YOUR #1 PRIORITY: OWN THE STRATEGY
Every client has a strategy. You are responsible for it. You understand what problems we are solving, what levers we are pulling, and why. You push the team to execute on the things that actually matter — not just the to-do list.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy & Client Goals
- Own each client's seasonal marketing strategy. Understand the problems being solved, the levers being pulled, and the goals being chased.
- Push the social and ads teams to execute on the "big levers" that align with the strategy, not just the deliverables list.
- Hold yourself and the team accountable to client outcomes: tee times filled, room nights booked, events sold.
- Bring strategy into every client conversation. Know the plan. Know why it's the plan.
- Identify gaps in execution before the client does. Proactively adjust.
- Run quarterly and year-end reporting that connects activity to revenue outcomes, not vanity metrics.
Creative Execution
- Lead creative direction for brand touchpoints: email campaigns, blogs, and website content.
- Write or coordinate copy that reflects the client's brand voice and ties back to revenue goals.
- Build, test, and distribute email campaigns, including list maintenance and performance reporting.
- Coordinate website updates with the web division, ensuring content serves conversion, not aesthetics.
- Bring ideas. Challenge creative that doesn't serve the strategy. Push for better.
Account Management and Client Relationships
- Be the key point of contact after the sale is closed, own the transition from sales to onboarding to delivery.
- Run weekly and monthly client meetings: strategy check-ins, campaign reviews, opportunity and issue management.
- Make clients feel like they cannot live without Par Six. Know their business. Anticipate their needs.
- Communicate proactively: changes, milestones, wins, and problems. No surprises.
- Maintain 90%+ client retention rate by delivering results and owning the relationship at every stage.
Project & Team Cooridnation
- Own project delivery from briefing through launch: timelines, workback schedules, resource coordination.
- Assign and coordinate content creators, contractors, and team members; ensure everyone knows their role, deadline, and deliverable.
- Manage Basecamp as the operational hub: tasks, timelines, documentation, and team communication.
- Lead internal team huddles; keep the social and ads teams aligned on priorities and strategic context.
- Flag scope creep, resource conflicts, or budget risks before they become client problems.
- Help team members develop efficient workflows: you are a force multiplier, not just a task manager.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
You're winning if:
- Clients are hitting their goalsL tee sheets fill, events selling, bookings growing.
- The strategy is not just documented. It is alive in every deliverable, every meeting, every ask.
- Your clients feel like P6R is essential. Not a vendor but a partner.
- Renewals feel inevitable.
- The team knows what they're doing and why. Execution is tight.
- You are not reacting. You are leading.
WHAT YOU BRING
Must have's:
- Familiarity with golf
- Strategic thinker who can connect marketing activity to business outcomes: you ask "why" before you ask "how many."
- Strong project management skills: timelines, workback schedules, cross-team coordination, and nothing slipping.

- Experience with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Constant Contact, or similar).
- Comfortable in Basecamp or equivalent project management tools.
- Client-first mindset: you make people feel taken care of without over-promising or under-delivering.

WHO THIS IS NOT FOR
This role is not for someone who wants to manage tasks and call it account management. If you need the strategy handed to you, thrive on reactive work, or measure success by how many emails you sent — this is not your seat.
Par Six clients are golf courses and resorts with real revenue goals and real expectations. They are trusting us with their business. The Account Manager is the one person who must never lose sight of that.
