Not out of apathy — but because you know they're capable of reaching it, and lowering expectations represents the true disservice. If this reasoning resonates with you, continue reading. If it strikes you as unnecessarily severe, this position will prove challenging. Students at Alpha don't passively absorb lectures. They advance through adaptive applications at double the speed of conventional classrooms while simultaneously developing practical life competencies. Your role ensures three core commitments are fulfilled for every student in your group: genuine enthusiasm for learning, 2x accelerated progress, and acquisition of capabilities beyond traditional academics. You simultaneously develop the Guides who uphold these same commitments throughout your campus. Data informs every choice, and every workday involves direct human interaction. Your time divides between your personal student cohort and the Guides under your leadership — with identical expectations for both: quantifiable advancement, without compromise. When a Guide's session underperforms, you bypass documentation; instead, you observe, discuss, and resolve the issue that same afternoon. You'll witness reserved students deliver presentations confidently to adults. You'll observe a formerly disengaged learner requesting extended time at school. And you'll recognize that the rigor you maintained directly enabled their transformation, because maintaining high standards communicates genuine belief in their potential. You may be establishing a completely new campus from the ground up and defining the foundational culture for the school. As operations mature, your priorities transition from hands-on startup execution to leadership development, building the team that expands Alpha's approach across your geographic area. If this opportunity appeals to you, submit your application now. What You Will Be Doing Facilitating one-hour interactive life skills and social-emotional learning (SEL) sessions with K-8 students covering topics such as public speaking and concentration, adhering to Alpha's structured curriculum framework Conducting daily motivational sessions that ensure 100% student achievement of weekly application-based goals through developmentally appropriate incentive systems including school currency and performance leaderboards Developing Guides through direct observation, specific feedback, and practical coaching to ensure they execute workshops with equivalent energy and accuracy to your delivery Analyzing Coachbot data and individual student information to determine intervention needs, then executing those interventions directly Providing direct mentorship to your assigned student cohort, demonstrating the coaching and motivational techniques you require from all Guides What You Won’t Be Doing Creating lesson plans or developing curriculum content. Students advance through adaptive applications; your responsibility centers on elevating the people who support them. Delivering traditional classroom lectures. Your role is 80% engaging facilitator, 20% content expert; if traditional teaching methods appeal to you, this position isn't aligned. Compromising standards in response to parent or administrator pressure. When a student reaches 99%, the response remains "not yet" — and you'll receive full organizational support to maintain that expectation. Spending time in administrative spaces reviewing documentation. The majority of your workday involves direct engagement with students and Guides. Experiencing delayed performance feedback. Results display in real-time through Coachbot and adjustments occur immediately.
