Remarkable Careers.” We are currently looking for a certified, or soon to be certified, X-Ray Team Lead to join our expanding outpatient clinics in a full-time position at our Sherwood Park clinic. Overseeing the clinic’s X-Ray team and associated services, this role includes hands-on diagnostic imaging and coaching X-Ray Technologists to strengthen their development. Working collaboratively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals, you’ll identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance clinic operations. Bringing compassion and clarity to each patient interaction, you’ll help ensure remarkable care every visit. What You’ll Be Doing Perform X-Ray Exams: Conduct standardized and complex imaging under the direction of Radiologists and referring Physicians, while adhering to departmental protocols and guidelines. People and Technical Leadership: Support and mentor the X-Ray Technologist team at the Sherwood Park clinic, helping both individuals and the team succeed. This includes contributing to performance management, staff retention, skillset training, and scheduling and template management support. Provide Remarkable Care: Explain exams and procedures, address questions, ease concerns, and help patients feel comfortable. Collaborate with Clinic Teams: Partner with radiologists and other teams to help deliver a seamless and thoughtful experience. Expand Expertise: Engage in ongoing professional development to refine existing skills, build new competencies, and cross-train in additional modalities such as Bone Mineral Density, Mammography, or specialized procedures in Fluoroscopy. Improve Processes: Contribute to initiatives and process improvements that drive sustainable change, using data to inform decisions. Ensure Compliance: Follow privacy, confidentiality, safety, and other regulatory requirements. Monitor and Troubleshoot Systems: Track X-Ray equipment performance, document findings, and assist in resolving basic issues. What We’re Looking For Professional Membership: Active registration (or eligibility) with CAMRT & ACMDTT or CSCLXT & ACCLXT. X-Ray Experience: Clinical competency in radiography with an interest in refining and expanding skills. Leadership Excellence: Proven ability to coach, mentor, and lead teams, helping with performance management, contributing to retention and recruitment and supporting the clinic’s growth and ongoing improvement. Specialized Knowledge: Exposure to fluoroscopy, bone mineral density, mammography or interventional X-Ray procedures is also valuable. Technology Proficiency: Experienced with Microsoft Office and patient management systems (e.g., RIS), along with an understanding of departmental equipment.
