Note: This role requires active Nevada bar licensure in good standing and demonstrated Nevada Workers' Compensation experience. Candidates without Nevada WC experience will not be considered. Prior management, supervisory, or leadership experience is required. Job Description Lead and manage the Workers' Compensation division, including attorneys, paralegals, case managers, and support staff in partnership with the Claims Management Team Lead Maintain an active personal caseload, handling hearings, litigation strategy, client communication, and case progression from intake through resolution Provide legal oversight and quality control across all Workers' Compensation matters Represent injured workers in Nevada Workers' Compensation proceedings, hearings, and related litigation Develop, implement, and enforce division-wide SOPs, workflows, KPIs, and accountability standards Train, mentor, and elevate attorneys and staff to improve legal quality, productivity, and client service consistency Monitor case movement, deadlines, hearing prep, medical treatment issues, and settlement opportunities across the division Partner cross-functionally with intake, pre-litigation, litigation, and operations teams to ensure seamless handoffs and a consistent client experience Identify opportunities for process improvement and help build scalable systems that support division growth Drive a culture of compassion, excellence, accountability, and results Qualifications Licensed and in good standing with the Nevada State Bar 5+ years of Nevada Workers' Compensation experience (required) Prior management, supervisory, or leadership experience (required) Experience handling Nevada WC hearings, appeals, and claims litigation Plaintiff-side or claimant-side Workers' Compensation background strongly preferred Ability to manage a personal caseload while simultaneously leading a department Experience building or improving legal workflows, SOPs, training systems, or KPI structures a strong plus High-volume legal environment experience preferred Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, and decision-making skills Why You Will Love Working Here This is a rare opportunity to lead — not just practice.
