If you hold any of the following, we want to hear from you: Water Treatment Level 1 certification or higher (required) Water Distribution certification (a strong asset) Canadian residency for a minimum of 5 years — required to qualify for the industrial security screening program for CFB Wainwright site access A drive to learn , a strong safety mindset, and pride in doing quality work Why You'll Love This Role Rare dual-technology exposure — operate both legacy and modern systems in a single facility Meaningful work — safeguard drinking water for Canadian Armed Forces personnel and the Wainwright community Fully funded certifications — Confined Space, First Aid, Fall Arrest, TDG, Chlorine Handling and more, all provided Supportive team culture — you won't be thrown in the deep end; your growth is our priority Unique work location — gain experience operating within a federal military installation Schedule & Compensation Training Period: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM — a structured onboarding period to get you fully confident in the role. Ongoing Schedule: 8 days on / 6 days off rotation — 10-hour shifts, averaging 80 hours over 2 weeks , starting on Tuesdays. Enjoy stretches of consecutive days off that many standard jobs simply can't offer. On-Call Rotation: After training, you will participate in an after-hours callout rotation — compensated accordingly. Salary: Competitive wages based on your certifications and experience — we reward what you bring to the table.
