About this role

Location: West Deptford, NJ / Westampton, NJ / Bordentown, NJ / Nazareth, PA

Salary: $75,000 – $90,000 per year

Job Type: Full-time, On-site


About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Assistant Manager to join our team in the Greater Philadelphia area. Mandarin fluency is required to effectively communicate with our global team and headquarters.

In this role, you will lead and develop warehouse staff, optimize daily operations, and ensure safety and efficiency across inbound, outbound, and quality control functions.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands both people management and operational execution.


What You‘ll Do

  • Lead and manage warehouse staff — provide coaching and support to ensure high productivity
  • Supervise and develop supervisors, team leaders, and trainers
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies and proper use of warehouse equipment
  • Develop and implement warehouse processes and best practices
  • Plan daily operations, assign tasks, and track progress
  • Support HR initiatives to optimize workforce and control costs
  • Manage warehouse assets, including maintenance and lifecycle
  • Prepare reports and KPIs (QC, Inbound, Outbound)
  • Monitor quality, accuracy, and efficiency across operations
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams
  • Communicate with customer service to resolve issues
  • Escalate major operational issues to the Warehouse Operations Manager


What You Bring

  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Assistant Manager or similar leadership role
  • Experience managing overseas warehouse operations preferred
  • Strong leadership, team management, and coaching skills
  • Solid understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics processes
  • Proficiency in WMS and Microsoft Office
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Bachelor‘s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
