About this role
About Us
We are THE hospital in Dubai pushing standards of veterinary care forward since 2008. We have had the first certificate holders, the first 24/7 emergency hospital, the first privately owned CT in Dubai and now the first RCVS-recognised ECVS specialist surgeon. We see advanced diagnostic, medical, oncological and surgical cases daily and cover every aspect of patient care and pride ourselves on following the highest veterinary standards and ethics to help pets, and guide their owners through difficult decisions to ensure the best outcomes.
We remain an independent veterinary hospital with both owners working in the team.
Our modern veterinary facility is equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment technologies, enabling our team to provide comprehensive medical, surgical, diagnostic, and preventive healthcare services for companion animals. We encourage continuous learning and development.
Position Overview
We are looking for a veterinary surgeon who is empathetic and client-centric, who still loves their job. The position is primarily medicine and emergency-focused, although you could definitely find your niche in dentistry! Work in a friendly team – with advanced qualifications in medicine, ultrasound and surgery. The successful candidate will possess strong clinical and surgical expertise, excellent diagnostic capabilities, and outstanding client communication skills.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a progressive veterinary practice while contributing to clinical excellence, mentoring junior team members, and supporting the continued growth and success of the hospital.
As a 24/7 hospital, we work varying shifts to cover our hours and help each other. You will work a 44-hour week, with varying weekend, weekday and night shifts. This is a unique hybrid position encompassing both day and night work. The night work is not arduous, and our vets have decided this is the best way to work as strategic holiday planning allows plenty of time off - with some vets taking 3 months off a year.
