Vehicle Inspection & Diagnostics Thoroughly inspect used vehicles for maintenance, safety concerns, and repair needs Test-drive vehicles and evaluate performance using diagnostic equipment and specialized tools Diagnose mechanical, electrical, drivability, and performance issues accurately Identify repair recommendations and document findings clearly Repairs & Reconditioning Perform repairs and maintenance efficiently and in accordance with dealership standards Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, HVAC, and electrical systems Complete manufacturer warranty repairs according to factory specifications when applicable Ensure all repairs meet quality and safety standards before vehicle delivery Team Collaboration & Communication Work closely with Used Vehicle Service Advisors and management teams Communicate repair recommendations and vehicle conditions clearly and professionally Document repair procedures and inspection results accurately Maintain a productive and positive working relationship with technicians, advisors, and management Quality & Customer Experience Deliver high-quality workmanship with attention to detail Help ensure customers receive reliable, fully reconditioned vehicles Maintain productivity while meeting dealership quality standards Contribute to a positive customer ownership experience through thorough vehicle preparation What You Bring Previous automotive technician experience required Strong diagnostic and repair skills Ability to work independently while maintaining high-quality standards Excellent communication and teamwork skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Positive attitude and commitment to continuous improvement Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Customer-focused mindset with pride in workmanship Dependable, self-motivated, and results-driven Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds Ability to effectively diagnose and perform repairs independently Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship Must successfully pass pre-employment background screening, drug screening, and motor vehicle record review Why Krause Auto Group?
