About the role Join our Mining Operators team as a Shotcrete Operator. You'll operate a shotcrete rig and underground equipment to apply fibrecrete, inspect ground conditions, conduct QA/QC tests, maintain equipment, and support daily mining operations. Must be mature, reliable, team-oriented, and experienced in underground hard rock mining, with the ability to perform under pressure and maintain high safety standards. Roster: 7/7, 12 hours per day (Day & Night shift) Location: Peak Mine, Cobar NSW Travel options Residents enjoy a balanced roster and the opportunity to settle into the family-friendly township of Cobar. Relocation support is available, along with a residential allowance DIDO if you live within an 800km radius of the Mine site which includes a travel allowance Qualifications and experience Previous experience in a similar role in underground hard rock mining environment Proven ability to operate shotcrete rigs, IT loaders, and underground agitator trucks Skilled in applying shotcrete/fibrecrete to specification Strong commitment to safety and risk management Effective time and resource management to meet operational goals Strong teamwork, communication skills, and reliability Demonstrates initiative, resilience, and problem-solving under pressure Current C Class Driver’s Licence Desirable Ability to obtain or hold an Underground Security Clearance (UHL) Working at Heights competency MAKE AN IMPACT, GET RECOGNISED – BE AN AURELIAN At Aurelia Metals, our people are at the heart of everything we do.
