Tyre Fitter / Automotive Service Technician

Responsibilities Fit, repair, and replace tyres on various types of vehicles ensuring safety and performance standards. Carry out routine automotive maintenance and servicing tasks including brakes, steering, and suspension checks. Inspect vehicles for defects and perform minor repairs or adjustments as needed. Operate tyre fitting machinery and diagnostic equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times. Provide excellent customer service and professional advice regarding tyre care and vehicle maintenance. Assist in managing inventory of tyres and automotive parts. Proven experience as a tyre fitter, automotive service technician, or similar role. Familiarity with tyre fitting equipment and automotive diagnostic tools. Strong knowledge of vehicle systems related to tyres, brakes, steering, and suspension. Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Relevant vocational certifications or training in automotive servicing is preferred. Physically fit and able to handle manual work.
