About Atalan Atalan is the first Clinician Retention Intelligence (CRI) platform, helping health systems predict and prevent surprise clinician resignations up to 12 months in advance to improve workforce stability. Using real-time, objective data that health systems already have, Atalan’s machine learning models pinpoint at-risk clinicians, uncover the causes, and tailor proactive interventions. The outcome: protected revenue, stronger margins, and uninterrupted, high-quality patient care. About the Role We are looking for a sharp, organized, and curious Technical Product Coordinator to join our growing team. This position will report to our Head of Product as a 2026 Summer Intern with the possibility of the role converting to full time in the fall. This role sits at the center of product and engineering. You’ll be scanning across the company for wherever you can have the most impact, whether that’s shipping a feature, automating a painful workflow, or keeping a customer onboarding on track. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to join a mission-oriented, early-stage company at the ground floor and grow with us. There will be plenty of room for growth and creativity, and opportunities to tackle challenges that present one of the toughest problems in our society: clinician retention. What You’ll Do Automate what’s slowing us down. Identify manual, repetitive processes across product and delivery, then build the tooling or workflows to eliminate them. If something can be systematized, we’d rather build it once than repeat it forever. Support the technical and data roadmap. Work alongside our product manager who owns the roadmap to keep the technical side current, clearly prioritized, and visible to all stakeholders. Flag capacity conflicts early, surface risks before they become blockers, and help leads make informed tradeoff decisions. Bridge product, engineering, and customers. Be the connective tissue during new customer onboardings. You may be on customer calls, coordinating between our data and engineering teams, and keeping implementations organized and on track. Stay current on tools and bring what you find. We’re a team that takes AI tools seriously. We expect you to experiment, find what’s useful, and share it. Participate in the QA testing and coordinate UAT with internal and external stakeholders . This includes running test scripts and helping customers understand the UAT process. Drive low-lift features to completion independently. You'll use AI coding tools to handle lightweight builds yourself, freeing up engineering bandwidth for higher-complexity work. Who You Are You have 1 to 2 years of experience in a technical, product, or engineering role, OR substantive internship experience (two or more summers) embedded with a product or engineering team where you had real technical responsibility. You’re comfortable with ambiguity. You don’t need a spec to get started. When a problem is fuzzy, you clarify what you need and move. You have a technical foundation in software/data engineering, data science, or equivalent. You can read and write code, engage credibly with engineers, and interpret data outputs. You feel comfortable strongly considering the user experience in the creation of product requirements, and in translating those requirements to data and engineering teams. You’re curious about AI tools and already use them in your day-to-day work, whether for coding, research, writing, or planning. You communicate clearly and proactively across functions. When something is off track, people hear it from you first. You’re organized and detail-oriented. You can hold both the coordination work and the technical work at the same time without dropping either. Bonus Points Experience with JavaScript, Svelte/SvelteKit, or AWS Familiarity with Linear, Jira, Asana, or similar PM tools Experience with APIs, webhooks, or systems integrations Familiarity with data dashboards or basic analytics (SQL curiosity welcome) Experience in a healthcare, SaaS, or analytics-driven company You've worked at a Series A–C company with under 30 people and thrived in the ambiguity Logistics Fully remote, with occasional travel for team offsites (a few times per year). This role begins as a 2026 Summer Internship with strong potential to convert to full-time in the fall.
