Our Digital Solutions & Analytics Implementation team in Gothenburg is now looking for a System Configuration Developer to join us. At Jeppesen’s office in central Gothenburg you will work in a one-of-a-kind software development organization with solutions that make a real difference to people around the world. You will be working in an agile learning organization, surrounded by a team of talented, creative and dedicated colleagues. You will learn and broaden your perspective by working with 400 professionals from more than 50 different nations, but also be part of a global organization allowing for collaboration with customers and colleagues across the world. Most importantly, you will be expected to make a difference. As part of a skilled and collaborative team, you will work hands-on with configuring and implementing our software solutions for our customers around the world. You’ll combine technical problem-solving with client interaction—ensuring each solution is tailored to deliver real operational value. What you will do: * Configure and implement advanced planning and optimization systems * Work closely with our customers to understand their needs and translate them into solutions * Collaborate with developers, analysts, and other teams to solve technical challenges * Contribute to programming and customization tasks (primarily in Python and internal language) * Support workshops, requirement gathering, and solution validation * Build long-term client relationships and ensure successful deliveries What we are looking for: * Enjoys solving complex problems and learning new domains * Is comfortable working both technically and with people * Communicates clearly and collaborates effectively * Is curious about the aviation industry and how technology can improve it Qualifications: * At least 2 years of relevant professional experience. * Hands-on experience with Python. * Strong proficiency in English, both written and spoken. * Experience working directly with clients or end users. * A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. * Experience within airline operations (e.g., crew planning, scheduling) is a plus. * Knowledge of version control systems like Git, GitLab, or GitHub is a plus. * Experience working in Linux environments is a plus. * Understanding of software testing and/or functional programming principles is a plus.
