About this role

About the Job

Our client is a high-growth, globally integrated technology and data-driven enterprise managing complex distribution networks, e-commerce pipelines, and hardware-software supply chains. We are seeking an analytical, detail-oriented Supply Chain / Logistics Analyst to join our fully distributed global operations division. In this critical role, you will not just manage static shipping logs; you will leverage data analytics, predictive modeling, and supply chain telemetry to optimize international freight movements, reduce landed costs, and ensure uninterrupted inventory fulfillment cycles.

Why Join Us

  • Total Remote Work Autonomy: Coordinate global logistics networks and analyze supply chains independently from your home office, using a premium, modern digital data tech stack.
  • High-Impact Analytical Ownership: Avoid getting lost in a manual data entry role. Your quantitative insights, freight models, and vendor evaluations will directly impact corporate margins and international scaling strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Data-Driven Network Analysis: Extract, clean, and model large logistics data layers to evaluate international freight lanes, transit lead times, and warehousing efficiency metrics, identifying operational bottlenecks.
  • Inventory Forecasting Support: Partner with demand planning and procurement divisions to update, audit, and maintain rolling safety stock models, ensuring optimal stock levels across distributed fulfillment hubs.
  • Carrier Performance Auditing: Maintain and publish carrier scorecard metrics, tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as On-Time In-Full (OTIF) delivery rates, damage claims, and invoice billing precision.
  • Freight and Tariff Optimization: Support senior analysts in tracking macroeconomic shipping indicators, sea/air freight rate trends, and global customs data to optimize global inbound routing plans.
  • Cross-Functional Workflow Engineering: Coordinate closely with overseas suppliers, third-party logistics (3PL) providers, and internal customs compliance teams to streamline documentation and expedite customs clearance pipelines.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelorโ€™s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics Engineering, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or an equivalent quantitative technical discipline.
  • Experience Level: 0 to 2 years of professional experience. This is an entry-level position; robust corporate logistics internships, university supply chain capstone projects, or an extensive academic portfolio highlighting operations modeling and database querying are highly valued.
  • Data and Tooling Fluency: Exceptional spreadsheet modeling capabilities in Microsoft Excel (proficient with XLOOKUP, Index/Match, Pivot Tables, and dynamic operational formulas). Hands-on familiarity writing basic-to-intermediate SQL queries for data extraction is heavily prioritized.
  • Consultative Communication Polish: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. You must be comfortable translating raw numbers and transit friction points into clear, scannable action plans for diverse global stakeholders.
  • Proactive Remote Independence: A self-starting operator who excels at organizing timelines, tracking shipment milestone metrics independently, and remaining highly accountable across distributed time zones.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Foundational exposure to Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) ecosystems (such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) or modern Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
  • Basic visualization experience utilizing business intelligence suites (such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker).
  • Familiarity with cross-border shipping regulations, incoterms (FOB, EXW, DDP), or customs documentation frameworks.

Job Location & Details

  • Visa Support: OPT / STEM OPT Validation & H1-B Sponsorship Provided
  • Salary Range: $65,000 โ€“ $80,000 USD base structure + Performance Bonus, Remote Workspace Technology Stipends, and Premium Corporate Health, Dental, and Wellness Benefits.
