About this role
Have you ever thought about a change in career or working somewhere new? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Staff Nurse to join the Chemotherapy team at Dorset County Hospital.
Currently Chemotherapy is delivered on site and in the community setting. You would be part of a dynamic, friendly team with plenty of opportunities to develop skills and education in this rewarding oncology setting.
The Chemotherapy service is led by a Senior Sister who is supported by her deputy's. We work closely with the Systemic Anti- Cancer Treatment Clinical Nurse Specialist and her community team to provide an extended service. The oncology and haematology service consists of Specialist Clinical Nurses who work closely with the Consultants and the Chemotherapy Nurses.
The candidate ideally must be Chemotherapy trained with a genuine interest in caring for patients with cancer.
