Job Description Summary Job Description Job Description What is expected from this position: - Management of projects related to new constructions and main utility installations, including interfacing with necessary suppliers, regulatory agencies, and execution departments. - For large projects or the introduction of New Programs and Processes (NPI) involving construction, working together with Project/NPI leaders representing Facilities Engineering Leading a group of Senior Engineers, specialized by different areas or processes on Facilities, Utilities and Maintenance Engineering Work together with IT and HQ Facilities teams to help promoting the level of technology required for the sites and its equipment as well as for Cybersecurity and IA requirements and implementation Support the Maintenance Management on new equipment specification and installation, being his team the leader of the implementation together with the Operational Process Engineering and Maintenance engineering for new technology implementation, understanding the specs demand and guaranteeing the required localization for the equipment or process Support all the EHS & Quality initiatives to guarantee the ‘SQDC’ (Security, Quality, Delivery & Cost) adequate prioritization Work on Business Contingent Plans for all Celma sites (with Local EHS and GEA Facilities HQ teams) Mandatory Requirements Degree in in Civil Engineering with solid work experience; Fluent English, especially in conversation Experience in Construction Planning and Scheduling Strong knowledge in project implementation involving not only Civil Construction (new constructions and renovations/refurbishment), but also HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and special installations, as well as industrial equipment installation MBA in Project Management or PMI graduation Strong experience in Eletrical Engineering, especially eletrical power transmission Solid experience working with Construction, Utility Projects, and Implementation and Planning Desirable Requirements: Degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering. Good experience on relations with govern technical departments and regulatory agencies on projects implementation for Civil Construction, Utilities, Fire Fighting and other EHS installations PMI certification Finance background on Project margins and other related KPIs Skills: Strategic and Clear Thinking Customer driven Leadership & Communication Technical Team Management Project Management GE is an Equal Opportunities Employer.
