Overview EHN is seeking a Senior Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to lead a comprehensive transformation of the FP&A function. This role is a key strategic partner to the CFO and executive leadership team and is responsible for modernizing FP&A capabilities, strengthening business partnership, and delivering forward looking insights that enable leadership to anticipate risks, evaluate opportunities, and drive value creation. This is a high impact leadership role requiring strong people leadership, systems expertise, rigorous analytics, and the ability to drive accountability and decision making across the organization. Key Responsibilities FP&A Transformation & Leadership * Lead the transformation of EHN’s FP&A function, including operating model, processes, tools, and talent. * Build, lead, and develop a high‑performing FP&A team with strong analytical, modeling, and business‑partnering capabilities. * Establish best practices for forecasting, planning, performance management, and insight generation. Systems Selection, Data & Enablement * Evaluate, select, and lead the implementation of a new FP&A platform, partnering with Finance, IT, and external vendors. * Ensure FP&A tools support driver‑based forecasting, scenario modeling, KPI tracking, and actionable insights. * Establish data standards, KPI definitions, and governance to ensure a consistent, trusted single source of truth across finance and operations. * Drive adoption and effective use of FP&A tools across the organization. KPI Development & Performance Management * Lead the development and refinement of KPIs and performance metrics aligned to strategic and operational objectives. * Partner with lines of business to: * Set clear performance targets * Define leading indicators and early‑warning metrics * Develop, monitor, and adjust action plans to address performance gaps * Establish regular performance review cadences that reinforce accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement. Business Partnering, Strategic Insight & Modeling * Elevate FP&A as a trusted strategic partner to executive, operational, and functional leaders. * Provide actionable insights and recommendations to support decision‑making and resource allocation. * Lead financial modeling and analysis for: * Potential acquisitions and integration scenarios * New RFPs, pricing opportunities, and growth initiatives * Capital investments and strategic initiatives * Establish post‑investment tracking to measure performance against original business cases and assumptions. Forecasting, Planning & “Seeing Around the Corner” * Lead enterprise‑wide forecasting, annual budgeting, and long‑range planning processes. * Strengthen predictive capabilities, scenario analysis, and risk/opportunity identification. * Develop early‑warning indicators and risk monitoring frameworks to proactively identify financial, operational, and market risks. * Help leadership anticipate future challenges and opportunities before they materialize. Resource, Capacity & Workforce Planning * Partner with operational and clinical leaders on headcount, capacity, and workforce planning, ensuring resources are aligned with demand, productivity targets, and financial objectives. * Link staffing and capacity decisions directly to financial plans and performance outcomes. Executive, Board & Private Equity Reporting * Oversee FP&A materials for executive leadership, the Board of Directors, and Private Equity partners. * Ensure reporting is consistent, insight‑driven, and focused on outcomes, drivers, risks, and forward‑looking implications. * Support value‑creation initiatives and help articulate a clear performance narrative aligned with Private Equity objectives. Financial Literacy & Change Leadership * Improve financial literacy across the organization by helping leaders understand key drivers, trade‑offs, and financial implications of operational decisions. * Lead change management efforts required to embed new FP&A processes, tools, and performance disciplines. Qualifications & Experience * 10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, strategic finance, or related roles. * Proven experience leading FP&A transformations, including systems selection and implementation. * Strong people leadership experience with a track record of building and developing teams. * Deep expertise in forecasting, KPI design, performance management, and financial modeling. * Experience building models for M&A, RFPs, pricing, and strategic growth initiatives. * Exceptional business‑partnering and communication skills; able to influence senior leaders. * Experience in private equity‑backed, healthcare, or multi‑site services organizations strongly preferred. * CPA, CFA, MBA, or equivalent experience is an asset.
