About this role
We are supporting a private family in hiring a dedicated, patient, and experienced Early Intervention Program (EIP) / Autism Therapist to work one-on-one with their 4-year-old son, who is on the autism spectrum and currently non-verbal. This is a highly impactful role focused on building foundational communication skills, fostering independence, and supporting early childhood development within a structured and nurturing home environment. Malaysian candidates are strongly encouraged to apply, with full visa/work sponsorship provided. Location: Jakarta, Indonesia Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: MYR 10,000 – 15,000/month + performance bonus Benefits: Fully provided accommodation + visa sponsorship provided Key responsibilities: Develop and implement a personalized daily therapy and intervention plan Support communication development using: AAC (Augmentative & Alternative Communication) PECS Sign language or other evidence-based tools Build foundational skills in: Social interaction and play Emotional regulation Daily routines and independent functioning Create a structured, engaging, and positive learning environment Monitor, document, and adapt therapy plans based on progress Work closely with the family to align on goals and progress Requirements: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience working with young children with autism Prior experience in a specialized autism school or educational setting (essential) Strong knowledge of early intervention and communication strategies Ability to work independently in a one-on-one home-based environment High levels of patience, empathy, and adaptability Willingness to relocate to Indonesia Preferred Profile Indonesian or Malaysian nationals (visa sponsorship provided) Experience with non-verbal children Background in EIP, ABA therapy, or special education Familiar with AAC / PECS implementation Comfortable with an active role involving play-based therapy and daily routines Remark: Due to high volume of applications, only shorted candidates will be contacted
