Position: Sonographer Grade 3 and Grade 4 Location: Regional Victoria, AU Employment Type: Permanent Full-Time Salary: $104,104 - $138,928.4 ++Relocation support: Intrastate (over 100kms) - up to $2,500, Interstate - up to $5,000, Overseas - up to $8,000 ++Accommodation Support: Up to $350 per week up to 10 weeks; or 10 weeks interim Accommodation (if available) ++FREE 1:1 relocation concierge service to ease your transition Are you a skilled Sonographer ready to make a difference in a vibrant regional community? With newly upgraded facilities, including dedicated rooms for interventional procedures and emergency patients, you'll work in a state-of-the-art environment with a supportive team culture. About the Role As a Sonographer, you will work in a modern Ultrasound Department operating from 08:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday and 10:00 to 13:00 on weekends. You'll manage a diverse caseload across hospital wards, emergency departments, and outpatient settings. This role offers opportunities for professional growth, with access to supervision and training, particularly for Grade 3 Sonographers looking to enhance their skills. Grade 3 Sonographer Work alongside a Sonographer tutor to increase knowledge and skills in musculoskeletal and vascular ultrasound Demonstrate competency in abdomen, obstetrics, gynaecological, and small parts ultrasound Perform examinations to a high standard in a supportive team environment Grade 4 Sonographer Complete ultrasound studies across all areas, working independently and maintaining consistently high standards Participate in a rotating roster, including weekends and on-call shifts Provide clinical expertise and contribute to the departments high-quality service delivery What You'll Do Perform ultrasound examinations in hospital wards, emergency departments, and outpatient settings Deliver high-quality imaging services for a diverse patient population Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patient care Participate in service development and quality improvement initiatives For Grade 4: Contribute to rotating rosters, including weekends and on-call shifts For Grade 3: Work with a Sonographer tutor to enhance skills in musculoskeletal and vascular ultrasound Who Were Looking For Experience: At least 5 years experience as a full registrant with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia (MRPBA) or equivalent Qualifications: Completion of an accredited ultrasound qualification Registration: Current MRPBA registration, Victorian Radiation Use Licence, and registration with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR) Licence: Current drivers licence Skills: For Grade 3, competency in abdomen, obstetrics, gynaecological, and small parts ultrasound; for Grade 4, expertise across all ultrasound areas and ability to work independently Availability: Flexibility to work across all shifts, including weekends and on-call (required for Grade 4) Sponsorship: Suitably qualified candidates eligible for employer-nominated sponsorship (ANZSCO 251214) Live, Work, and Thrive in Regional Victoria Nestled in a vibrant regional area of Victoria, this location offers the perfect blend of career opportunity and lifestyle.
