About The Role

As a Solar Sales Consultant, you’ll meet with homeowners across Hawke’s Bay to understand their energy usage, educate them on available solutions, and guide them through the process of investing in solar and battery systems.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys relationship-based sales and wants to build a long-term career in a high-growth industry.

You’ll be supported by qualified appointments, strong systems, and an experienced team behind you, allowing you to focus on delivering a great customer experience and achieving strong sales results.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Meeting with qualified leads and homeowners to discuss their energy goals
• Educating customers on solar, battery storage, EV charging, and energy-saving solutions
• Conducting in-home consultations and site assessments
• Preparing and presenting tailored solar and battery proposals
• Following up leads and maintaining strong customer communication
• Managing customer relationships throughout the sales process
• Working closely with the wider Ecoefficient team to ensure an exceptional customer experience
• Maintaining accurate notes and pipeline management within CRM systems

What We’re Looking For

• Previous sales or customer-facing experience preferred
• Solar industry experience highly regarded but not essential
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Confident, professional, and personable approach
• Self-motivated with strong organisational skills
• Comfortable working independently and managing your own schedule
• Passion for renewable energy and helping customers
• Full NZ Driver’s Licence
