If so, joining us in Adult Social Services could be the right move for you. In this role, you will be based in the Julian Hospital in Norwich, which is for adults in later life (65+). The setting consists of five wards which are divided into organic (Dementia) and functional (Bi-Polar/Schizophrenia etc.) mental health groups. We generally have a Social Worker aligned to each ward, giving opportunity for Social Workers to support from the moment of admission until discharge and review. As a Social Worker in this small friendly team, you will be part of a larger multi-disciplinary team, which aims to promote the wellbeing of those in later life, living with mental health. This is a great opportunity for a Social Worker to further develop specialist knowledge and skills in older persons mental health.
