About the role This is more than a Shared Services role. It's an opportunity to lead, influence and transform how finance services are delivered across our growing mining business. We're looking for a passionate and commercially minded Shared Services Business Partner to lead our Accounts Payable and Payroll function while partnering closely with operational leaders across the business. You'll be at the centre of driving service excellence, strengthening controls, improving systems and developing a high-performing team that delivers exceptional support to our sites and corporate stakeholders. Roster: Monday to Friday (Hybrid) Location: Brisbane CBD Key responsibilities Lead, coach and develop the Accounts Payable and Payroll team Foster a collaborative and customer-focused shared services culture Ensure accurate and timely payroll and supplier payments Partner with Finance, HR and Operations to resolve issues and improve outcomes Drive continuous improvement across systems, processes and service delivery Develop and maintain clear procedures, controls and governance frameworks Monitor service performance and provide meaningful business insights Champion capability building, cross-training and team succession planning Qualifications and experience Proven experience leading Accounts Payable, Payroll or Shared Services teams Strong knowledge of payroll, accounts payable and financial controls Experience working with ERP, payroll and workflow management systems Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships across Finance, HR and Operations Experience driving process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives Strong problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills Relevant qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline Experience with Pronto, Redmap, Concur and/or UKG Ready (Kronos) will be highly regarded Exposure to mining, resources or other operational environments is advantageous MAKE AN IMPACT, GET RECOGNISED – BE AN AURELIAN At Aurelia Metals, our people are at the heart of everything we do.
