SERVICE MANAGER – HEAVY EQUIPMENT Juneau, Alaska Relocation Available CMI is looking for a Service Manager to run our Juneau operation. This is not a sit-behind-a-desk role. You will be responsible for keeping a heavy equipment service department moving in one of the most demanding territories in Alaska. If you’re comfortable managing people, controlling workflow, and handling a fast-paced environment, this is a strong opportunity WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR Running daily scheduling and dispatch (shop & field) Controlling WIP, backlog, and job flow Making sure jobs move from quote → approval → completion → billing Keeping technicians productive and accountable Working with parts, sales, and rental to support customers Managing downtime situations where response matters Maintaining a safe and professional shop You are responsible for how the department runs. Not just overseeing it. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR Experience running a shop, fleet, or field service team Background in heavy equipment, mining, construction, or similar Someone who can make decisions and hold people accountable Clear communicator who can handle customers and internal pressure Comfortable working in a fast-moving, sometimes reactive environment No degree required. Experience matters.
